Summer’s just around the corner and we all want to look good in our summer clothes. Fortunately, there are ways to work your butt and legs that don’t involve expensive gym memberships or machines. One of the best exercises you can do is the walking lunge.

When you do walking lunges, you move forward with every step, then you change direction and return.

Here is how to do walking lunges:

  1. Your starting position is standing tall, with feet shoulder-length apart. Shoulders are back and abs are tight.
  2. Take a step forward and bring your back leg goes straight down but not touching the floor.
  3. Make sure your front leg doesn’t go over your toes.
  4. Bring your back leg to meet your front leg.
  5. Step forward on the same leg. Repeat for as many times as you can on one leg.
  6. Turn around and lunge with the other leg.

You can find ways to increase the intensity of lunges such as carrying barbells and increasing your distance. Do this consistently and you’ll get the sexy results you’re looking for within a short period of time.
