Inspiration on Your Desktop: Free Wallpapers

by Shannon on July 23, 2012

“All the effort in the world won’t matter if you’re not inspired.”
 ― Chuck Palahniuk, Diary

If you’re like me, your computer is your BFF. You spend more time with it than your significant other, often take it with you on vacation, eat with it in restaurants, and some of you even fall asleep with it (but we’ll just leave that one alone).

So why not make it a major player in your health and happiness?

I am very excited to share with you new inspirational wallpaper for your computer’s desktop! These designs provide constant visual cues to help you stay positive, detach from any surrounding negativity, and offset fears. You can even email them to a friend and share the love. The wallpapers are a free gift from me to you.

Good for Your Health

Having inspirational messages to look at several times a day, every day, can help you maintain a positive mindset, which directly correlates to more satisfying relationships, better health, and greater success. According to research from the Mayo Clinic, positive thinking can increase your life span, decrease depression, reduce levels of distress, provide greater resistance to the common cold, offer better psychological and physical well-being, reduce the risk of death from cardiovascular disease, and enable you to cope better during hardships and times of stress.

How to Download Your Wallpaper

  • Click on one, or all, of the wallpaper images below.
  • The wallpaper will download in a new browser window.
  • Right click (PC) or CTRL+click (Mac) on the image, and save it to your computer.
  • When setting the wallpaper as your desktop’s background image, be sure to select the “stretch” or “stretch to fit” option.

Also, don’t forget to download the list of Office Exercise Tips. You can print it out and keep it by your computer as an excellent reminder to keep moving.
